Driving lessons in English - Valach Autósiskola
If you would like to start the driving course in English, do not hesitate to apply to our school.
Application requirements:
• Minimum age: 16.5 years,
• Elementary or High School certificate (translated to Hungarian),
• Medical certificate from your doctor,
• Existing driver’s license (if you have any),
• Valid Residency and address card,
• You must not be under any prohibition.
1. Theoretical course:
The course subjects include traffic rules, driving theory, basic car mechanics.
The course can be taken online, via E-Learning. You will study the topics individually, at your own pace. You have 180 days to complete the course, but additional access can be purchased.
Having completed the E-learning course, you will have to take an exam.
2. KRESZ exam
Requirements:
• Completed E-learning course,
• Paid exam fee.
The KRESZ exam can be taken at the age of 16 years and 9 months. After starting the E-learning course, an exam is needed to be taken in 9 months – which is not needed to be succesful. In 12 months’ time the exam is needed to be succesful – otherwise you will need to start the E-learning course from the beginning again.
At the exam, candidates need to take a test of 55 questions. 65 points are to be scored out of 75 to pass.
In case one fails the KRESZ exam, it can be taken again.
3. Driving Practice
In accordance with Hungarian laws, the mandatory required minimum is 29 lessons/580km driving. However it is very rare that students can complete the practice in 30 lessons, as it depends on the students’ individual abilities.
The fee of the lessons can be paid in installments.
Our school puts a great emphasis on personalized training. Our instructors always consider the current level of the students, and teach them accordingly, never push them. We also encourage our students not to be afraid to cooperate with the teachers, to date ask questions.
4. Driving exam
Requirements:
• 17 years of age,
• The driving practice lessons are completed,
• The exam fee is paid.

Exam fees
KRESZ exam: 4.600 Ft
Driving exam: 11.000 Ft
First aid exam: 18.000 Ft
Medical certificate: 7.200 Ft (it is to be paid for the doctor)
